What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
Europe Infos (French), 26 October, by Michel Labise: an explainer on PHP2Shell, saying the flaws found with AI analysis stayed hidden in PHP's core since 2012 and that early circulation of technical details led to near-immediate exploitation attempts. It relays one security researcher monitoring honeypots running PHP 8.4.26: 35 malicious PHP shells were launched by Apache processes on three test servers just three days after the patch was available. It adds that many European institutions temporarily disconnected PHP sites while they located PHP, with 'never so many European administrative and public sites made unreachable in one day', and gives a triple-check approach (locate instances, filter external access, audit logs). The page also carries unrelated 'Lire:' lines (about Boris Johnson and a lawyer's portrait) that look inserted by the site.
> Selon un chercheur en cybersécurité ayant surveillé des pots de miel (honeypots) équipés de PHP 8.4.26, 35 shells PHP malveillants ont été lancés par des processus Apache sur trois serveurs tests, tout juste trois jours après la mise à disposition du patch de sécurité.
_Curator's translation:_ "According to a cyber-security researcher who monitored honeypots running PHP 8.4.26, 35 malicious PHP shells were launched by Apache processes on three test servers just three days after the security patch became available."
