What the page says

_Curator's reading of the capture._

Evrensel (Turkey, Turkish), an opinion column by İsmail Gökhan Bayram titled 'What PHP2Shell and the "Black Wednesday" showed': the IT world has begun to call last Wednesday 'Black Wednesday' for critical flaws in widely used software. It notes the two PHP2Shell flaws became public before patches were out, that critical flaws in Node.js, NGINX, Go and GitLab followed, and that an Indian certificate authority's incident was more serious than the server-side ones. It says patches were prepared in an extraordinary mobilisation and the flaws 'were solved without major harm', criticises some experts and outlets for claiming millions of sites stayed down without data, and argues open-source maintainers are drowning in sloppy contributions and tripled flaw discovery. Opinion; no new facts.

> Bilgi teknolojileri dünyası yaygın kullanılan yazılımlarda keşfedilen kritik açıklar nedeni ile geçen çarşamba gününü “Kara Çarşamba” olarak anmaya başladı.

_Curator's translation:_ "The information technology world has begun to commemorate last Wednesday as 'Black Wednesday' because of critical flaws discovered in widely used software."
