What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
An Argentine news explainer (Info Arenales, 22 October) on what PHP is and why the flaws set off an alert. It says PHP's developers published critical fixes on Wednesday for flaws unseen for years, that governments including the Netherlands, France, Denmark and Finland temporarily suspended official portals, and that cybersecurity agencies advised PHP users to update at once or take sites offline until patched. It cites Censys that about 1.5 million of 2.6 million identified web servers still ran PHP versions without the fix, notes the Japanese prime minister's call on X to check whether sites use PHP, and relays that Calif says it found the flaws on 1 August with an advanced language model while Wiz used its own research tool with other AI models, both estimating about 70% of the internet could be affected.
> cerca de 1,5 millones de los 2,6 millones de servidores web identificados operan con versiones de PHP que aún no incorporan la solución disponible
_Curator's translation:_ "about 1.5 million of the 2.6 million identified web servers run PHP versions that do not yet include the available fix."
