What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
An Italian opinion piece on an aggregator site (Blasting News, 28 October), by a technology analyst, arguing that the PHP2Shell crisis shows the limits of manual patching and the need for automated, continuous security. It quotes a Wiz executive that containment work continues after the alarm leaves the news, recalls the joint work of OpenAI, Calif and the PHP team, draws the lesson that when a widespread component needs urgent patches across thousands of heterogeneous environments manual correction is unsustainable, and reports that the PHP security team flagged a new remote-code-execution flaw, CVE-2026-115560, tied to a session upload-progress mechanism, which will get no emergency patch because it needs a rare combination of configuration and application code, with the interim mitigation of turning that feature off until the next ordinary bugfix release.
> La lezione più rilevante emersa è di natura organizzativa: quando un componente software ampiamente diffuso richiede patch urgenti su migliaia di ambienti eterogenei, la correzione manuale si rivela insostenibile e inefficace.
_Curator's translation:_ "The most relevant lesson to emerge is organisational: when a widely used software component needs urgent patches across thousands of heterogeneous environments, manual correction proves unsustainable and ineffective."
