What the page says

_Curator's reading of the capture._

MEDIAMIXI (Japan, Japanese), 27 October: 'Fix it or fold it: the technical debt of live-service games that PHP2Shell made visible'. It says that on the night of 21 October popular Japanese games went into emergency maintenance because of the PHP flaws, most recovering by the next day: Cygames' Uma Musume ended maintenance at 02:30 on 22 October (about four and a half hours) and Granblue Fantasy resumed that morning, while the travel game World Quest was closed outright on 21 October because its old stack could not be adequately protected, another idle RPG ended service on 22 October because moving the OS and PHP was not realistic, and Cygames' Shingeki no Bahamut chose a large PHP upgrade expected to take over a week. It notes the National Cyber Directorate urged prompt patching and that Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi posted on X before the release an urgent request to act that night, calling it unusual for a prime minister to ask for a software update. The rest is the author's argument about technical debt.
