It says that when PHP published its emergency update at 16:00 CEST on 21 October, 90% of its hosting customers were patched 18 minutes later and all systems by 20:00, including shops on PHP versions with no official fix, thanks to automating the rollout in the eight hours after PHP's announcement; about 300 systems with old operating systems needed an Ubuntu update first, and its PHP provider supplied patches for older versions. After the rollout it reviewed logs and found only isolated attack attempts on customer shops and no sign of broad compromise.
