What the page says

_Curator's reading of the capture._

Salzburger Nachrichten (Austria, German), 22 October: what the PHP flaws mean for the internet, headlined 'huge'. It says the two flaws affect every version in use for 14 years and that authorities and experts class it an exceptional emergency because the details leaked unintentionally; the US NSA warned hackers could gain 'direct access' to data systems or server databases, and many providers took sites offline as a precaution, also in Austria. From the Austrian Interior Ministry on Wednesday evening: the new Federal Office for Cybersecurity, with CERT.at, had put out on Tuesday a notice that a 'critical PHP security update' was coming, and again on Wednesday; authorities knew of no cyber-attacks on Austrian sites so far, though attempts were expected. It adds that certain companies are legally bound under the NISG 2026 law that came into force this month, and that ordinary users face only an indirect risk.

> In Österreich sind bei den Behörden bisher keine Cyberattacken auf Webseiten aufgrund der neu entdeckten Sicherheitslücken in der Programmiersprache PHP bekannt geworden.

_Curator's translation:_ "In Austria, the authorities have so far not become aware of any cyber-attacks on websites because of the newly discovered security vulnerabilities in the PHP programming language."
