What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
Startupper (Greece, Greek), updated 26 October, by Vangelis Graikopoulos: the PHP2Shell crisis and a £220 million UK AI-safety package. It says the Wall Street Journal calls the affair the 'Black October' of cyber-security; that Calif found the flaws with GPT-5.6 Sol in an OpenAI-funded audit in August and Wiz independently with Gemini 4 Argon and GPT-5.6 Sol; that technical details leaked on Tuesday 20 October, bringing the patches forward a day; that the FBI told administrators to take critical servers offline if patches could not be applied quickly; that Censys counts about 39.7 million internet services worldwide running affected PHP versions; that Finland's central government portal and Edinburgh council services went offline, BBC TV and radio producers' sites were temporarily suspended, and in Japan Nomura, MUFG and ANA suspended parts of their online services; that Cloudflare's CEO says attempts rose from tens of thousands in the first 45 minutes to millions in 24 hours; that Amazon's honeypots were hit from 17 October; and that Arctic Wolf says confirmed deep intrusions remain limited. It then describes a UK package announced on Saturday 24 October (£120 million for the AI Security Institute and £100 million for a further strand).
> Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία της εξειδικευμένης πλατφόρμας Censys, περίπου 39,7 εκατομμύρια διαδικτυακές υπηρεσίες παγκοσμίως εκτελούσαν εκδόσεις της PHP που επηρεάζονται άμεσα από το PHP2Shell.
_Curator's translation:_ "According to data from the specialised platform Censys, around 39.7 million internet services worldwide were running PHP versions directly affected by PHP2Shell."
