What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
A Taiwanese English-language news report (Taiwan News, 30 October) on Dream's report: an AI-assisted campaign in October identified and took full control of 25 Palo Alto Networks firewall and management servers across Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and the United States, with 22 compromised firewalls left with hidden backdoors for return access and three servers in a US government-affiliated environment singled out for deeper intrusion. It relays that Dream said the target selection indicated potential nation-state efforts, the four countries being China's primary geopolitical rivals, did not attribute the activity to a specific actor but pointed to operation on China Standard Time and use of the Chinese search engine FOFA, and found signs of AI tools in the attackers' environment. It adds that Taiwan's cyber-security agency had called for updates last week and said companies had been fixing their systems.
