What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
An Australian tech-news report (Tech Business News, 29 October) that Synology is urging NAS owners to update affected applications after confirming PHP2Shell exposure. Synology's advisory lists the affected packages (Calendar, IDrive, Joomla, KodExplorer, MailStation, MediaWiki, phpMyAdmin, vtigerCRM, Web Station and WordPress), says its own Synology Drive is unaffected, and in a 28 October statement confirmed PHP updates for DSM 7.4 and 7.3 and for end-of-life DSM 7.2, 7.1 and 7.0, with a DSM 6.2 patch planned for 29 October and earlier versions told to disable affected packages temporarily. It names fixed Calendar and MailStation versions, says PHP 7.3 will get no fix, and says DSM's internal PHP component has no externally accessible modules and minimal risk, with a fix planned for a later DSM release.
> Synology says the affected applications are Calendar, IDrive, Joomla, KodExplorer, MailStation, MediaWiki, phpMyAdmin, vtigerCRM, Web Station and WordPress
