TeknoTalk (Turkey, Turkish), 23 October: a piece built round a statement from the Turkish security firm Kron Teknoloji, which stresses that after patching, organisations should review who and what can reach critical systems (limited, logged privileged access and monitored critical sessions) to limit the effect of an attack. It says Turkey's Presidency Cyber Security Directorate started a national-scale security scan over the two PHP flaws, announced that nothing had been found affecting e-Devlet, and called on the public and private sectors to check their PHP and apply updates. The vendor's product pitch is not recorded.
