Türkiye'de İş Dünyası (Turkey, Turkish), updated 23 October: 'Turkey outdid Europe on the PHP2Shell threat', on an analysis by the fintech company Onlayer of about 1.4 million merchant sites in 20 markets. It says 35.8% of merchant sites in Turkey were affected by PHP2Shell against a 45.7% average abroad and 56.7% in Europe, that the share of updated sites rose about fivefold in under 24 hours after the fixes, that 36.2% of Turkish merchant sites use PHP (about 64% use other technologies and are unaffected) and that 98.9% of PHP-using sites were on affected versions, which it attributes to the flaw covering most PHP versions published since 2012.
