What the page says

_Curator's reading of the capture._

Világgazdaság (Hungary, Hungarian), 23 October, by Máté Gergely: 'That is why half of Hungary and government sites stopped: PHP2Shell, and how could these flaws stay hidden for over a decade'. It says two serious flaws were enough for government portals, company services and Wikipedia's back-end to stop worldwide, with millions of attack attempts within a short time, cites a survey that PHP is used on 69.3% of sites whose server-side language is known, says Wiz's researchers found the flaws in August with AI tools and built working attack methods with Calif and OpenAI taking part in coordinating the fix and disclosure, and that patches appeared on 21 October. The 'half of Hungary' in the headline is not supported by any figure in the body that was read.

> az ismert szerveroldali programozási nyelvű weboldalak 69,3 százalékánál használják a PHP-t

_Curator's translation:_ "PHP is used on 69.3 percent of websites with a known server-side programming language."

Why it is here

From the promotion queue (index/promote.json, priority 4): Mentions CVE-2026-109618/109619 or php2shell: "Elég volt két apró hiba, hogy világszerte leálljanak a weboldalak: a héten megtapasztalhattuk, mennyire könnyen sebezhető az internet - Világgazdaság". Selected mechanically, not read by a person.
