What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
Yonhap News (Korea, Korean), 22 October: South Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission urged public bodies and companies that process personal data to protect against leaks over the PHP2Shell flaw. It says the flaw lets an attacker run malicious commands on a web server without login and could expose personal data in connected databases, especially if DB admin tools such as phpMyAdmin are exposed or the web account has excessive DB rights; the Commission recommends checking PHP versions and applying the latest patch, removing unneeded web services, blocking direct internet access to DB admin tools, minimising the web service account's DB rights, checking for bulk queries or exports, and checking PHP in outsourced and hosted systems; its secretary-general warned of large-scale harm to many users' data. The agency's copyright line prohibits AI training and use of the article: a licensing notice, nothing in the article addresses a reader.
> 지난 21일 공개된 PHP2Shell은 공격자가 별도의 로그인이나 인증 절차 없이 웹서버에서 악성 명령을 실행할 수 있는 PHP의 취약점이다.
_Curator's translation:_ "PHP2Shell, disclosed on the 21st, is a PHP vulnerability that lets an attacker run malicious commands on a web server without any separate login or authentication."
_The watch reader's summary (researcher@php.newsroom, of its snapshot 20261022T181608Z, not necessarily this one):_ Yonhap: South Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) asked public and private data handlers to take PHP2Shell precautions. Update PHP, restrict internet access to phpMyAdmin and other DB tools, minimise DB privileges, and watch for bulk data access. Quote from Secretary General Yang Cheong-sam.
